Come with me on my adventures to parts of Europe, the United States, Canadian Provinces, and especially my home state of New York. This album will continually expand as I explore new destinations with unfamiliar landscapes, cultures and wildlife.
New York has diverse regions with very different landscapes and geography.
Named by Native Americans, there are actually more lakes than a human hand. The official lakes are Canandaigua, Keuka, Seneca, Cayuga, Skaneateles & Owasco, with several more smaller lakes. The area is know for the wonderful wine produced by the vineyards up the hillsides of the lakes.
Rolling countryside, crops of corn and wheat, fruit farms and vineyards. Not the urban Big Apple, for sure!
The Village of Honeoye Falls is in the Town of Mendon, New York. It is set on Honeoye Creek, where early settlers used the creek to mill flour and corn.
